Welcome to Stella's Famous Sauces. Stella's Homemade Marinara Sauce is prepared with all natural organic tomatoes, with no added sugars or preservatives.

Marinara is derived from the Italian word meaning "of the sea". It originated with the sailors in Naples over 400 years ago when the tomato was introduced from the New World by the Spaniards.

Originally, it was prepared with fresh tomatoes, garlic and herbs, however, today on the shelves so many of them contain fillers, purees, sugars, ascorbic acids, and other unknowns. There are few without such ingredients, but they are costly.

Each batch is cooked as Stella did in her kitchen with her famous wooden spoon. .
